A Ferrari with whitewalls

Aesthetically, a wood strip kayak with white PVC outriggers will look very much like a Ferrari with whitewall tires. It may perform exceptionally, but it will look pretty tacky. If it is understood that they were only for development, most people would let the visuals slide.
