How about a lowest profile compass (plan and section) and still retaining the visible display size of say the Ritchie's(exporer?). And the (low) housing to be a dark dark color (to complement any yak color) but w/ the scale or important info visible.

And a series of footpumps options w/ the largest capacities possible(and sensible), w/ the lowest return spring necessary for foot pumping water out of a yak. Like a better designed foot actuated guzzler , the pickup to be as low as possible and the piping and flanges designed so that ina panic w/ my flailing feet and flotsam, I don't dislodge kick out a line. Designed for kayaks, the best location(ball of foot?), largest size, least return, most efficient exit.

Electrics - large capacity for doubles, sea secure batteries switches and fittings. Good pickups and exits. Backvalves.
