Here is a picture of my 17’ Kootney built during the spring of 1998 it weighed in at 40 lbs at the end of construction. It probably weighs a few pounds more now, a couple of small changes and five more coats of varnish.

Unfortunately the accent strip is not as noticeable as I had hoped. I used a dark mahogany strip but along with the dark cedar it just fades a way.
