... the crossbeams need to be raised slightly to clear the waves.
How about attaching the saddles to cross beams and then bolt/lashing it to the kayak?
I've got a HUGE mast parnter to run bolts through.
I'd like to keep the front one all infront of the mast so I can get at the bolts.
