Well Russ, sorry to have caused you to do so much work on the year's very
first Holiday. I hope it doesn't set a precedent.
I'm familiar with the 12 step boat building program. Actually it should be classified as mania, an addiction, or dependency, as you put it, just like tobacco, alcohol, gambling etc.
Once you catch it, it is nearly impossible to kick the habit. I always warn people that ask me about boat building: "I don't know what it is about, but I bet you can't build just one".
I can clearly see from the photos why your kids fell in love with Lil'Dubber.
It is definately a cute little boat, with unique design. Monocoque, it appears, and probably about 30#. Definitely a neat boat for kids to mess around with.
