I havent used any Bubinga with epoxy, but I have made some scroll-sawn shelves out of it. It is a beautiful dark red when finished, like a cherry or maroon color with a much nicer grain. It's not an oily wood, so epoxy should work fine with it. It is easy to mill, but I have not tried bending it.

Should be great, if a little heavy. Go for it!

: I was wondering if any of you have worked with bubinga.

: If so, does it bend easily when cut in strips or does it crack or splinter?
: Does glue and resin bond to it easily without any special preparations?

: Does it look good when it's finished? It's hard to tell what the final color
: of some woods will look like before their finished with resin and varnish.

: Thanks,
: Dale
