I am wondering if anyone has tried shrinking the skin on diagonally, and eliminating the kevlar? With ribs that run all the way around, full length stringers, and diagonal strands in the skin, the structure would be completely stable without the kevlar. This would not work on an open boat, but it would certainly work on a kayak.
