The price from a boat transport company will vary tremendously depending on the time of year and what else they have to move and how flexible you are on the schedule. It cost me $3200 to ship my 33 foot yawl from Florida to Minnesota. It was in the spring so all the traffic was for boats going North. The hauler went to Florida empty. If I would have waited until August or September I could have got the price down to about $1000. You also need to allow for crane fees at both ends (can vary from $150 to $1000).

: Hey I need a litle help. I am wondering if anyone could give me a rough round
: figure for what it would cost to truck a 28 foot sailboat from CA to NH.
: The boat is already crated and would just have to be lifted onto a flat
: bed. No fin keel 9 foot beam.

: I have an option to restore and deliver it. But I have to figure out what it
: would cost to get it to me. I can see two options. I have a CDL so I could
: rent one. But one way rentals tend to be pretty high. Or I could just pay
: to have it proffesionally trucked. However, I don't know whata coast to
: coast would run me. Can any of you blow boaters help me out?

: Thanks in advance
