Hi George

"Grip-liner" is sold as "kitchen supplies" for shelves or counter-tops, it looks kind of like a light waffle-weave mat, and it's main property is that it is very non-skid. It's also found in most hardware departments to roll out on the bench top and then place items to be sanded, planed, or routed thereon and keep them from wandering all over the bench. I've seen it at home depot, near tools.
