Hi Larry,
As the pic shows, this tool has been used hard and put away wet. It is marketed as a method for low-pressure epoxy injection of cracks in concrete structures. I have used it for that purpose on and off for 9 years now, and never had a failure. For that application I generally use a 12" x 1/2" mixer, but that is to reduce back pressure as much as to promote mixing. I did use the 6" x1/4" mixers on 2 boats, and never had any grief over epoxy. Had lots of grief over other issues, but that's for a different thread...
I need to know something, though. How do you use static mixers with 5 minute epoxy?
BTW, I just love your aluminum box beam and wedged form alignment blocks. Very elegant.
