: Hi Larry,
: As the pic shows, this tool has been used hard and put away wet. It is
: marketed as a method for low-pressure epoxy injection of cracks in
: concrete structures. I have used it for that purpose on and off for 9
: years now, and never had a failure. For that application I generally use a
: 12" x 1/2" mixer, but that is to reduce back pressure as much as
: to promote mixing. I did use the 6" x1/4" mixers on 2 boats, and
: never had any grief over epoxy. Had lots of grief over other issues, but
: that's for a different thread...
: I need to know something, though. How do you use static mixers with 5 minute
: epoxy?
Pete,
The 5 min. epoxy I used has a static mixer with it, actually it comes with 2. It looks like a Devcon type, double tube syringe with a replaceable mixer tube. It works just like yours but it only holds a couple ounces.
Thanks for the compliment,
Larry C.
