Hi Brian

I am a great supporter of twin pacl poly's and it is one of the cases where most manufacturers assume you are the local twit painting the barn.

Overcoating depending on manufacturer with a brush or roller is only after you can sand back with 220grit. If you are spraying it's a whole diff ball game.

Your fuzz problem Test sand each day till it comes off clean when WET sanded..

No dry sanding.

Cut back with 120 grit then 150/180 then 220.

For your next coat use a brush and flow it on. Do not try to apply like its a varnish. Apply almost to the point of runs. Then when it has cured sand all runs away with 120 the 180 then 220 then the whole kayak 400 / 600 then burnishing compound and polish to a super finish.

I must admit I spray and I can do a deck in one day spaying wet on wet.

That aside I have just stripped a deck and it's getting interlux varnish. 10 coats on the epoxy.
