hello everyone,
thanks to everybody who helped me with my last question on bamboo.
well...what i've been wanting to do since i decided to build my own boat is decorate it to look like an "old school" long board. i will be painting the hull international orange, with either a walnut vaneer, or a painted gunwale. here is my question. many long boards have a flower pattern on the nose, and i would like to incorporate this some how. can i get a flower pattern and just print it out on my printer onto rice paper and then laminate w/ raka? will the color run? or should i go with option "b" (also my first thought on this) go and buy hawaiian fabric and just laminate this to the bow and stern of my deck. i intend to cover the deck with ppg clear coat...or some similar product.
i think the printer option would be easier, but i don't know what will look better as a final option. does anyone out there have experience with either of these?
thanks in advance for your help!

f.y.i.- i hope to be painting the hull next week sometime....
