I was kinda thinking "for regular type varnish (thinned) how much worse could a cheap gun be than a brush or roller". Judging by the discussions of people's troubles...

Applying resin and fiberglass is the most frightening part of building to me. Varnish (or paint) is the part I dread because it always seems to go wrong just before the last coat is done.

Remember, things are always darkest just before it goes pitch black.
