(Dick Gamble) My experience seems like many others. When I THOUGHT I might like to try a strip built boat,I read Nick's book and gained the confidence that he dispenses there to launch one. When I found this forum,I thought I had discovered gold. I would hazard a guess that this industry owes a lot to this forum. I participate in other forums on other subjects but the friendliness and willingness to help inexperienced boatbuilders ,like myself, is phenominal.
I have met others building similar to my design who help offline with problems; lets face it, Nick has done a great service to all of us and I hope that the 99.9% satifaction will overcome the .1%!!!!
