: I have sanded my Artic Tern and am ready to varnish it with Z-Spar Flagship
: Varnish as recommended by Pygmy. Is there anything I have to do before I
: varnish it? I remember reading last fall that some people had trouble with
: blush from the epoxy and the varnish was not sticking or drying. Is this
: anything I have to worry about? I want to finish varnishing and get it
: into the water by 4/28. The epoxy has been on for 7 or 8 months.

blush is just a surface coat that comes to the surface of epoxy when it cures. it seals the epoxy from the air surrounding it. most epoxys are blush free, and if yours isn't, you don't have to worry because you would have sanded it off... Just follow the cleaning procedures advised on the can and you should be fine.

good luck
