: smooth the glass over the complete haul except on one side at the stern. I
: finally give up and cut a wedge of glass out and neatly tucked it under
: the stern end. Does anyone else ever have this problem?

yah, I'v run into things like that with glass, it ussually just takes alot of working, or a little cut.
