Hi Jim,

I always cut bias tape for exterior seams, or any other place with a sharp curve. I generally use either 4 or 6 oz. The easiest way to apply it is to roll it up right after you cut it. That way it doesn't get stretched from handling. I just store it as rolls and unroll it along the seams that are painted with wet epoxy. This holds it in place. Then I brush on more epoxy to wet it out and squeegee it down. The important thing is to make your brush and squeegee strokes across the width of the tape from center to edge. Works real simple. 9 oz tape on exterior seams can be ugly. But obviously, everyone has their favorite approach to this. (and they are all right :) )
