Between One Ocean Kayak's site and Spidey's pages, you should be able to determine the sequence for hatch lip construction. But, do yourself a favor and buy a copy of the manual. It has a full description of the technique along with other construction goodies.
Ross
: I am currently building a Bear Mtn. Reliance Tandem Kayak and am thinking
: about possibly using caned seat bottoms like the ones from Green Valley
: Boatworks but
: set low on the bottom like a double paddel canoe. I would appreciate any
: thoughts on this subject from any experienced paddlers/builders. I would
: also hearing from Ross Liedy and or Spidy on the timing and sequence of
: the various stepes in building One Oceans hatch seals.
