The last Fine Woodworking has an article for using an ROS up to 4000 grid paper. When I looked at one of the Bosch ROS they listed it for polishing as well. I am just trying to figure out if it is a good way to go. I finished all the wood sanding by hand and it appeared quite fair (at least in comparison to an ROS surface. I am also sanding the epoxy by hand but I consider and ROS for the final finishing of the varnish above 600-1000 grid.
