Hey Don and Shawn

I stopped watching my T.V. about 5 or 6 years ago and gave it away 2 years ago and I have found untold hours of work to do around here. Lots of liesure time, and unfortunately, my neighbors found out about it. They have found untold dozens of projects for me, from fixing a paper towel dispenser, adding a shelf to the Entertainment center to my next kitchen rebuild across the street. I find I don't miss anything about the T.V. except maybe a little football on Sunday Afternoons. ( Oh, I don't have anyone to snuggle with so it was a bit easier to get rid of ) But, it's been well worth it. Now, if I could only find time to do some of "MY" projects. O.K. that's not exactly true, ( the part about not getting to my stuff ) as I built a barn/shed, built the strongbench, cleaned out my garage, built the saw table, am building my Walrus, and also have some remodeling going on inside my house. All that time was wrapped up in that Damn T.V.!!!! Now, it's a struggle to figure out which projects to start on and which to hold off till next week.

At first it was like an addiction, wanting to know what was happening on certain shows, but after a couple of weeks, it all went away. Now, if I could just shut this contraption off, I'd save another hour or so a day.
