Making a spray skirt

I'm just about ready to launch my SOF as soon as I can attach the cockpit coaming. Used Hypalon yellow over heat shrink dacron. Boy is this yak bright!

I need to know if anyone has experience in sewing a spray skirt. What material to use and if there are any paterns available.
