Hi Nick

I agree. Every time someone asks me to 'just make one of those nice wooden paddles'I freak or cringe as it takes about eight hours the way I do it and one cannot recover the labour let alone the material.

I have a friend who has a fancy German made machine almost like a 5 axis router that is NC controlled. I am hoping to do a deal to make paddles at a far lower price.

Hand made with a spoke shave . Not Commercially Viable!!
