: here's my question of the day.... when I attatch the strips to make the
: stempieces do I wrap them right around to the point of the bow and stern?
: If so how do I deal with the fact that I will have to cros the line where
: the hull and deck separate?
I wrapped my sheer strips around the point of the bow and stern, then brought them together and fit like the corner of a picture frame and then crossed the rest of the strips after that. I wasn't working with plans or a book and I always wondered if I should have dropped down one strip width at the bow and stern stems with the haul started strip along the sheer. I had a hard time stripping my deck and I have always wondered if I had dropped down one strip, it would have been easier. I couldn't picture that then or now.
