If you use a slow hardner you can warm the resin and hardner to thin them out. This works well, as they remain "runny" until it sets. The only issue is that it will start curing or hardening faster than normal, so you have to work quickly.

This trick would probably not work if you are using a fast hardener, or if you are already working in warm conditions.
