Northwest River Supplies (www.nrsweb.com) and most other kayak gear vendors sell "pre-assembled air bag kits" that include the vinyl or coated nylon fabrics, valves, inflation tubes and fittings, etc. in a variety of sizes and shapes. Very quick to "make", convenient and reliable - I've used mine for many years. Yes, you may consider this a puff piece. Also check out inflatable pool toys for other fun ideas.
