: I ran out of Raka and had to pick up some West System w/slow hardener. I
: rolled on the last (I hope) coat. The temperature inside my greenhouse was
: well over 100 so the epoxy was reasonably hard after only a few hours -
: but now it feels greasy/waxy. Raka never had any blush that I could detect
: so I have no experience with this.
: Can I just sand everything before I varnish, or should I wash the boat with
: something?
Amine blush always formes to some extent (with most epoxies) but even more so under high humidity conditions (which may be inside your greenhouse).
West systems has an online users manual, go to: "basic technics/users manual/surface preparations/cured epoxy"
