Free source of transport tubes

Go to a carpet dealer and get one of the 12', heavy-duty cardbord tubes that come in carpet rolls. They usually just throw them away, so you should be able to get one or two free. If you cannot fit all of your strips inside, strapping them to the outside will still supply plenty of support.
