Kirk, I was just re-reading your post. I wasn't very clear: "Peanut Butter" is a term used to describe epoxy thickened with wood flour that is the consistency of peanut butter. Don't go smearing Skippy on your scarf! An excellent primer on using epoxy can be found at http://www.westsystem.com/frames/tier1/usingepoxy.htm
