yes !

a strong back doesn't really need to be exactly straight & aligned.

it only need to be sturdy, & by that I mean it must not flex, must not
have elasticity or plasticity.

as I mentioned few lines down the thread - don't make the strongback
your reference for alignment.

use the reference holes on the forms & a string to align them,
& when you do it, you won't really care if the strongback is bent or not,
all you would care is that it won't change its shape after you align
the forms on it.

I would say - add reinforcements on the crack in a way that will make
the s.back sturdy again.
