In Response To: Putty won't stay putt! (Les Nightingill)
I tried the same thing, along with other methods listed on past posts. None of them worked to my satisfaction. Last night I tried red food coloring mixed with Durhams. It worked great. It is easy to regulate the color, and doesn't seem to change the consistency of the putty. (This was the problem I found with mixing various things with the putty.
Good luck.
