Will latex
: paint mix with boiled linseed oil? Oil and water don't mix so the quick answer is no, though I've never tried it myself. Oil based paint or alkyd as it is sometimes called is the paint to use.

One other question,do you use a special
: type of glue to glue it to the keel? If you are talking about an external keel that goes over the canvas then usually it is screwed on with brass or stainless screws and not glued. Do not drill pilot holes for the screws.
