I cut the hatches and installed the hatch lips after glassing the deck, then did the end pours as a final step.

I believe the recessed coaming and lower rear deck is only on the Tern 14', unless they've changed something recently. I'm about to glass the outer hull on the Tern 14', so I haven't yet assembled the recessed coaming and deck. It looks pretty straight forward. I like the way it's designed. The foredeck ends with a 3-4" curve just behind the hatch cutout. It's butt-joined and reinforced with a wider curved piece that creates a lip for another piece of decking that joins it to the rear deck. It looks like bending that piece might be a bit tricky. I'll soon find out!
