In Response To: sanding (mark stevens)
: I am wondering about wet sanding. Rob Macks (I think) says that he sands with
: 80 grit and then sands to 120 grit using water and a ros. why wet sand and
: how do I keep my sander from ingesting the wet stuff it will creat? Am I
: on track with this?
Mark, if your going to use power tools around water you can buy an electrical fault outlet for about $5 and install it inplace of your regular outlet wall plug in, and this will keep you safe. I had one save me one time when I was high upon an aluminum latter and the ele. drill plug loosened from the extention cord and touched the latter. The power was shut off before it got to me
