: It was an old ww k1 that isn't used anymore so we wanted to give it a second
: life so we decided to try to make a c1 of it. The purpuse of this boat
: will be to have fun and to learn paddling with single blades. If it is
: possible we would try to do an eskimoroll with it. But it has not to be
: conform any rules, not even reasonable.
Rolling a C1 is very dufferent from rolling a K1. With a K1 you come up on a high brace (hands under the paddle shaft) also, because you are low, sitting on the kayak bottom.
In a C1 you come up on a low brace (hands on top of the paddle shaft) because you sit high. Also you must turn the paddle over, during the sweep, from the power face to use the non power face to brace on and complete the roll.
If you paddle K1 and C1 during the same season it can become confusing remebering which roll to do.
