cool ideas and method. could you explain the balance a bit more.
for the overshoot, if you had poured resin in last(the larger volume) wont it be near the surface and not mixed and could you just touch a honey dipper or something similar to the surface to by surface tension take a little bit off to slowly drain back in?

i hear that some resins and some honeys are very similar in looks and viscosity. so be careful, but i guess theres more than one way to get a sweet yak!
