Thanks to all who responded, both on the board and privately. It seems a lot of people are building the kayaks from 'One Ocean' even if they aren't talked about very much here (maybe they have their own board). Anyway, I'm much closer to a desision now and I expect I'll be a regular here once I get started building late this winter.
