I definitely agree on that, too. My Arctic Tern has a peak in its high coaming, which pokes into your back when rolling. That was one of my reasons for building my Outer Island was the low, flat aft deck and cockpit coaming. Pygmy actually called me up and asked my opinon of the Tern when they were developing their 14' Tern, and it's good to see that they added a cockpit recess on that boat to keep the coaming lower. Now if they could only build a low-volume, flat aft decked, 21"-beam, high-performance Tern, I'd be all over that... :)
