Hi Terry,
I think that Ben is right, you should probably be wary of doing your end pour with the hole pre-drilled. When the epoxy kicks in your end pour it will generate a 'lot' of heat that would likly soften the glue on the tape, possibly resulting in a leak accompanied by a large mess!! Be afraid...be very afraid, just kidding, all will work out well. This kayak building is just a bunch of easy little steps that result in a beautiful boat...right?

: Hey there Terry,
: I used about 6 oz of epoxy and mixed quite a lot of sawdust and whatever else
: was on the garage floor in with it (maybe thats where that little
: spokeshave went!), but not so much that it wouldn't pour.
: Get your bucket full of water and set the boat up in it and your pouring cup
: with the strings on it ready to go prior to mixing the goop.
: I would be nervous to do an endpour into a boat with a hole in it, probably
: should wait and handle that on its own later. Just picture the tape giving
: way and your endpour flowing out onto that nice bow.
: Happy pouring and post a photo if you get a chance!
