In Response To: RACKING STRIPPERS (STEVE POLLACK)
: HI ALL!
: AFTER COMPLETING TWO BOATS AND STARTING MY THIRD, I NEED TO GET MORE ROOM ON
: TOP OF MY TRUCK TO CARRY THEM.
: THE ONLY WAY I CAN, IS TO RACK THEM ON THEIR SIDE.
: HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED ANY PROBLEMS (CRACKING, ETC.) CARRYING STRIPPERS ON
: THEIR SIDE?
: ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
I had to make a "quick and dirty" rack overnight to carry three kayaks on top of a Subaru Forester. It works really well, even if it looks a bit odd.
