I bought the Magellan 330M earlier this year for about $250 and have been quite pleased. It has 16M of internal memory which includes about a 9M base map and marine database of buoys, navaids, lighthouses, marinas... It comes with a Map Send CD which you use to download map sections in full detail. The screens are customizable, runs on 2 AA, floats, waterproof. For our use it is quite good. Magellan is going to put out another round of models next month according to their website. Check them out, they are pretty good.
