I have been useing an adjustable foot set-up from Walden Paddlers. They are a strap arrangement that can be adjusted easily as you are sitting in the kayak. They are great for when your legs need to streach a bit on a long paddle. Just reach in and adjust the strap and gain or loose an inch or two. They are easy to install and they are cheap, $18.00 from Walden or a dealer. I bought two the first time as I own a Walden Passage Kayak that has this particular foot peg assembly and love the way they let you cheat a cramp from happening. I knew I would be building more boats. I showed them to a few people at the Meet at the Beach this summer and got some good reviews.
