hey Ken;
thanks. as this is my first kayak, i'm hardly qualified to rate it's characteristics. i will say that compared to canoes it tracks very well, is real fast, and is totally nuetral to the wind. stabillity seems to lack a bit. REMEMBER-FIRST KAYAK!! i am haveing a lot of fun with it and as soon as my skills allow i am going to try some big water!
it was not easy to put together. i had to build the forms and the strongback to get it to take shape properly. if i hadn't left the outside glass untill after i mated the deck and hull i dought that i would have been able to get the sides of the bow to pull together in the last two or three feet.
it almost never snows in south-western b.c. i was born and raised in saskatoon. i DO NOT miss winter one little bit!
