If you are concerned about the appearance of the loose weave, make a test panel and view it in natural light. A more distinct cloth pattern is more likely to show in loose weave cloth because there can be larger pockets of resin between the fiber bundles. Although transparent, the fiber bundles can be seen in the right light because of the difference between the index of refraction of glass and epoxy.
