I left some grass clipping in my mower bagger for a couple of days. When I stuck my hand into the bag to clean it out I burned myself. The clippings had turned black in the middle. Also I remember seening how a French man took tons of hay which he would lay down a layer, then put coiled water hose on, then an other layer and so on until it looked to be 15 feet high and maybe 50 feet in dia. The hay stayed hot through out the Winter and he run water through it for hot his water supply
