Ray, I like this idea. I have my present shape on a pattern if I go back to it, but I think I will just start slicing off 1/4" slivers and trying it out. Everyone without exception thinks I should go smaller or different so I need to try it at least. I am just so happy I got this boat to go straight. The only other kayak I have ever paddled was a little 9 footer that a friend let me barrow last summer and it even went straight.
As I slice down the skeg I will give a report.
