Hi Roger,

How did you boil the Alaskan Yellow Cedar? I have about 20 pieces of clear 7/8" x 6" x7' that I can use for a lot of projects. Do you recommend this wood for ribs?
Boil it at the same rate as steaming, i.e. 20 min. per inch?

I guess I could use a couple of hot plates under some sort of metal trough for boiling short lengths --- just wondering if there is a better way.
