In Response To: Polyurethane Glue Line Question... (John B.)

I've been using Gorilla glue for my new plywood walrus and the glueline is white and is hard foam like if you apply too much glue. It does scrape and sand off pretty easily, mostly I just cut it with a razor knife and then sand it a bit to remove the excess.
It stays white when wet with epoxy just the same as carpenters glue does so it needs to be removed for a clean looking job.

: Quick question about the new polyurethane glues....

: What color is the glue line? Is there a difference between the color of
: Gorilla Poly vs. Titebond poly?

: (I like the idea of the stuff requiring moisture to set - might be useful if
: I steam bend some wood).

: Thanks,

: John
