I would think a simple 2D Cad program to just X-Y plot forms would be okay.

In Nick's book he mentions using a spreadsheet like excel to plot the curves between points and print out. This is a bit tough to get the scales just right, but with enough patience it could work.

A blank sheet of paper, a T square (or drafting machine) and a 24in steel rule with .01 inch graduations and ships curves is an elegant method, but is alot of work too.

It'd be nice if the kit / plans suppliers had a mini plans package that was nothing but the full size forms on two sheet, one for aft stations, one for forward stations. Or even one sheet of forms shapes like the top of this...
