Scotty,

Without re-starting the, "Which epoxy is best debate," I have the following recommendation: don't chose your epoxy based on price. The use of epoxy is labor intensive, and mistakes or poor results are hard to rectify. The working properties of the various brands of epoxy are probably the most important factors. Also, consider that if you spend $600-$700 building your kayak, is $40 more dollars for a gallon of MAS, WEST, or SystemThree versus RAKA really that significant?

I also think it is significant that many of the commercial kayak designers and builders use and market MAS. If you use MAS and have a problem, many of the contributers to this bulletin board (including Nich Schade, I believe) will be able to give you first-hand advice.
